A GUARD'S LIFE

In prison there are many things that effect a prison guards life. Some of these things are daily work, relationships with others (guards and inmates) and their fears on the job. Some prison guards could have a great time while working at the prison, while it could be someone else’s worse nightmare.
 

The daily work of a prison guard could be opening and closing the prison doors, guarding the prisoners, or transporting them from point A to point B. A prison guards daily life depends on what their jobs are because some jobs would be more stressful then others. A prison guard who sits and flips a switch all day, to open and close the prison doors, may not find their job as stressful as someone who stands outside with the prisoners to make sure they don’t try to escape or hurt each other.

A prison guard who has to talk with prisoners each day may find his job scary or pleasant. This depends on the relationship he has with the prisoners. A guards relationship with others at the prison is important because if they have a good relationship with the people they come in contact with they would have a good day and vice versa. If the guard is nice to the prisoners some of the prisoners will be nice back. Some will take advantage of the guards and others will hate the guards for being nice. Prison guards have to be careful who they befriend in prison. They even have to be careful with the other guards and how they treat
them. If a guard is doing something they are not supposed to, they will probably threaten anybody. A prison guard can have a lot of fears.

Some guards would be nice to some of the prisoners while the other prisoners give them the creeps, you would be able to tell which ones they were friendly with and which ones they weren’t friendly with because of the looks on there faces. Most prisoners would have disgust for the guards since they don’t want to be in there.

A prison guard has a lot to afraid of because if they don’t do their jobs the way the warden wants them to they could be fired. They have to be careful how they treat the prisoners because if the prisoners don’t like how they are being treated they will threaten the guard. They also have to worry about how they treat the other guards because if they are caught doing something there not supposed to be they will threaten them as well. So you see guards have a lot to be afraid of. 

A guards life is very stressful depending on there daily work and the relationships with others. Having to fear certain people everyday doesn’t help either.
