WHY CHILDREN LOVE EASTER Children love Easter because they can participate in school plays, classroom activities and Easter egg hunts. Children also love Easter because it signifies spring. It also gives them a chance to spend time with family members they may not get to see a lot.
Teachers and children enjoy putting on school plays. The schools like to embrace Easter because it gives the teachers and the students something to look forward besides their everyday routine. The children enjoy dressing up and prancing around the stage. Some of them even enjoy the challenge of getting the play set up, learning their part and rehearsing before going on stage.
Another thing children enjoy about Easter is the classroom activities. Have you ever colored in a beautiful Easter bunny and seen it hang on the classroom wall? Didn’t it give you a special feeling knowing your picture was one of many hanging on that wall. Children love to see their pictures around the classroom (and house) for people to see.
Laying out Easter eggs and other Easter goodies around the yard (and house) is a lot of fun for the adults but what's even more fun, is when the children go hunting for them. They love walking around the yard, looking behind plants and trees and finding their special Easter goodies. If you don’t have a big enough backyard there are lots of places you could hide those Easter treats inside your home. You could hide them under tables, on chairs, under couch cushions, around the entertainment center and maybe even in a potted plant.
Easter signifies the beginning of spring for many of us. Children get to start playing outside, have friends over more often and see family they may not to see all the time. Easter is a great time of the year to invite some family members over and have a huge dinner. You can get caught up with your relatives while your children are playing with their cousins. They can also exchange Easter presents and show each other what they got for Easter.
