Things to Think about on Halloween Halloween is coming up again so have fun but keep safe doing it. Many things
could go wrong on Halloween considering children will be taking candy from
strangers, people will be walking around at night with dark clothing, and some
teenagers will be up to no good. If your family does a lot of walking on Halloween night then you need to pay
attention to your children and extra attention to the traffic on the roads. To
be on the safe side, I would cross the road with you’re child. Don’t just stand
on the side of the road watching you’re child go door to door, go with them.
This way if anything happens to your child you will be right there to give
assistance to them. Always remember that teenagers find good ways of getting into trouble and Halloween gives them a better chance to do it since they can wear a disguise without people looking at them oddly. Knowing this you need to be careful while driving down the road on Halloween night because some teenagers will go as far as throwing eggs on passing vehicles. Don’t be surprised to wake up the morning after Halloween to find your car covered in eggs, toilet paper hanging out of trees, and your mail box missing. These are just a couple of tricks teenagers manage to pull off on Halloween. Cleaning the egg off your car as soon as possible is a good idea since egg
will eat the paint of the car. Some people take their mail boxes into their
houses on Halloween night since it is easier and less expensive to just take it
in the house then to buy a new one. While you are cleaning up the mess the next
morning just be grateful Halloween only comes once a year. Halloween can be a fun and safe night as long as people remember to stay
safe. Don’t let your child wander off alone, be careful while crossing the
streets and always remember to check out your child’s candy before letting them
eat it. This article was written by Jenny Hanna, 2006.
