TRAVELLIN' RICK'S PHOTO ALBUM Pussy Willows
On Sunday, April 22, 2007, I went for a drive to Tunkwa Lake Provincial Park in Logan Lake, BC. I saw some pussy willows growing in a little swamp. I haven't seen pussy willows since I was a kid and I believe the last ones I saw were in Bobcaygeon, Ontario at my grandparents cottage.
Pussy willows obviously like to grow in swampy areas and they are kind of a unique plant because they have soft little buds on them. They are not like any other kind of plant that I have ever seen.
