TRAVELLIN' RICK'S PHOTO ALBUM Loon
On Sunday, April 29, 2007, I went for an evening drive, just about 20 minutes outside of Kamloops, BC to see the sunset. I saw this loon swimming in a lake on Paul Lake Road.
Loons are very fascinating. They are noticeable because of their distinct black and white colours. They have a pure black head and their wings are checkered. Loons have a very distinct call. It is very lonely sounding.
