Grampy’s Little Green Car is based on a 1931 Model A Ford car that my father actually owned. Growing up I can remember my dad always working on his car. I remember him taking the old dusty interior out of the car and stripping the car down to nothing and then putting it all back together again. I remember my dad painting flames of the car one year and then painting it a whole different colour the next. My dad really enjoyed this car and we enjoyed watching him work on it. This car was a part of my life that I will never forget and I guess that is why I based one of my characters on it.
