Story 307 – Fawn’s Easter

FAWN’S EASTER

“”Oh Fawn,” laughed Spot. “What are you doing?”

Fawn was sitting on a rock in the field, just sitting there, doing absolutely nothing.

“I’m just sitting here,” said Fawn. “Is there anything wrong with that?”
“No,” said Spot. “There isn’t but I know you.”

“What’s that supposed to mean?” asked Fawn.

“You are always up to something,” said Spot.

“Aren’t I allowed to sit here in the field whenever I want?” asked Fawn.

“I suppose,” said Spot.

“Well, that is all I am doing,” said Fawn.

“If you say so,” said Spot. “So Fawn, what’s in that bag beside you?”

“Nothing much,” said Fawn.

Spot went over to the bag and looked inside of it.

“Carrots!” exclaimed Spot. “What are you doing with a bag of carrots? Don’t you dare try and tell me that you are going to eat them, because we all know you don’t like anything that is good for you.”

“Alright,” said Fawn. “If you really must know, I am waiting for the Easter Bunny. The Easter Bunny has always been so good to everyone and nobody gives anything to him.”

“You amaze me sometimes Fawn,” said Spot, walking away.
