Valentine’s Day in the City

VALENTINE'S DAY IN THE CITY

Hello everyone. I'm Cecil City. I live in the city of Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

It is Valentine's Day and we do a lot in the city to prepare for this day. We buy our loved ones the most expensive perfume, chocolates and flowers that we can find and then we take our loved ones out for a very expensive meal at their favourite restaurant. In Toronto, you have to remember that there are a lot of restaurants to choose from and this may take a few weeks to figure out which one to take our loved ones too.

After dinner, we usually go dancing and we usually don't get home until quite late. However, we definitely have to show up for work the next morning so we try not to stay out too, too late. Some of the city folk have gotten into the habit of celebrating Valentine's Day either the weekend before the big day or the weekend after so that we don't have to worry about what time we need to be home.

We usually end up spending a lot of money on Valentine's Day and for the most part, I think it is worth it and usually so do my dates.
