FAWN HAS A YARD SALE

“Fawn,” said Spot. ”What are you doing?”
Fawn was in the barn, pulling all his toys and books out.
”I’m going to have a yard sale,” said Fawn.
”A yard sale,” said Spot. “That sounds like a great idea!”
”Daisy, my friend from up the road had a yard sale last weekend,” said Fawn. “She told me that she was able to get rid of a lot her junk and she made about twenty dollars.”
”That’s pretty good money,” said Spot. ”You know, I have lots of junk too. Do you think I could put some of my stuff out with yours?”
”Okay,” said Fawn.
Spot gathered up a few of her old toys that she didn’t want anymore. Both Fawn and Spot brought all their yard sale items outside to the table that Fawn had setup.
”We need a sign,” said Spot. ”
”I already have one made up,” said Fawn, pointing to a sign that sat beside the road.
”Great,” said Spot. ”Looks like now all we need are customers.”
”I’ve already got that taken care of too,” said Fawn, pointing to a group of cows walking up the laneway.
”Oh look,” said Spot. ”Here comes Daisy.”
”Yes,” said Fawn. ”I know. She said she was going to bring her friends over.”
”Here comes Ricky and Jenny, too,” said Spot.
”What a great yard sale this is!” exclaimed Jenny.
”Yes,” said Ricky. ”Look at all the toys Fawn has for sale!”
Within an hour, Fawn and Spot had sold almost everything from their table. They both made over twenty dollars each.
”What are you going to do with your money?” Spot asked Fawn, while they were cleaning up.
”Daisy said that tomorrow there is going to be a huge yard sale at the park,” said Fawn. ”I think I’ll go there.”
