HEAD GAMES

“Fawn,” said Spot, watching Fawn really getting into the game he was playing on the computer. “What are you playing?”

“I am playing Head Games,” said Fawn. “Do you want to play? It is lots of fun.”

“No,” said Spot. “I don’t think you should be playing that game either.”

“Why not?” asked Fawn.

“Did you not hear what Ricky told you about it?” asked Spot. “He said it is really dangerous.”

“Oh,” said Fawn. “Ricky was only talking about people that play that game and are addicted to it.”

“I don’t know,” said Spot. “I really don’t think you should be playing it.”

Fawn would not listen to Spot. He wanted to play the new Head Games game. Spot went up to the main house and told Ricky that Fawn was playing it.

“He is what!” exclaimed Ricky. “Is he crazy? That game will get inside his head and mess him up.”

Spot and Ricky went back to the barn where Fawn was playing. Fawn had the computer mouse clutched in his paws. His eyes were glued to the computer screen.

“Oh no!” exclaimed Ricky. “The game has gotten to him already.”

“What are you talking about?” asked Fawn, turning around to look at Ricky and Spot.

“The game has gotten you messed up already,” said Ricky.

“No,” said Fawn. “It is this math course that I am taking online that has me messed up.”

Both Ricky and Spot leaned over Fawn’s shoulder and started laughing when they saw it really was a math course that Fawn was doing.

“I thought you were playing Head Games,” said Spot.

“No,” said Fawn. “After you left, I thought better of it.”

“Good,” said Ricky. “That game is very addictive.”
