FUN TIMES

“Silly Snake!” exclaimed his mother. “Hurry up! We don’t want to be late!”
“Okay,” said Silly Snake, tying his shoes. “I am hurrying as fast as I can go.”
Silly Snake was really excited about going to the amusement park with his mother. It has been a long time since he and his mother have done anything together. Silly Snake was already to go but he was so hyper that he kept walking in front of his mother and getting too far ahead of her.
“Sorry Mother,” said Silly Snake, when he noticed his mother was not beside him.
“Slow down,” said Mother. “You are very hyper today.”
“I am just excited,” said Silly Snake. “This is going to be so much fun.”
Mother and Silly Snake entered the gate to the amusement park. They were shocked to see how many people were t here. It was packed.
“Ouch!” exclaimed Silly Snake, after a little girl stepped on his long tail.
“I am sorry,” said the little girl.
“It is okay,” said Silly Snake. “I guess this isn’t the best place for a snake to be.”
The little girl laughed because that was exactly what she was thinking but she didn’t want to be rude.
“It is just that I have never been to an amusement park before,” said Silly Snake.
“Well,” said the little girl. “Have fun!”
“You too!” exclaimed Silly Snake.
Silly Snake and Mother wanted to go on the roller coaster. They found their way through the crowd to the biggest roller coaster in the park.
“I sure hopeĀ you like this,” said Mother, a little worried about Silly Snake because he had never been on a roller coaster before.
Once they had gotten their tickets and were able to finally get to ride the roller coaster, Silly Snake couldn’t sit with his Mother. However, he did get to sit with the little girl who had stepped on his tail earlier.
“Hi!” exclaimed Silly Snake, when he realized who he was sitting beside.
“Oh hi!” exclaimed the little girl. “How is your tail?”
“It is fine,” said Silly Snake.
Silly Snake and his mother and the little girl loved the roller coaster. They had so much fun that they decided they would go for a second ride. Silly Snake’s mother decided she would let Silly Snake and his new little friend go by themselves.
“Ouch!” exclaimed the little girl when she was getting off the roller coaster.
“Oh oh!” exclaimed Silly Snake. “What did I do to you?”
“Oh you didn’t do it,” laughed the little girl. “I pinched my arm in the strap.
“Oh,” said Silly Snake. “I am so glad it wasn’t me that hurt you.”
“Don’t worry,” said the little girl. “I take it you aren’t like most people where if someone steps on you then you would step on them back to get even with them.”
“Oh no!” exclaimed Silly Snake. “I am not like that at all.”
The little girl turned to go in the direction where her mother was standing when Silly Snake accidentally stepped on her shoe.
“Oh oh!” exclaimed Silly Snake, laughing. “Looks like I am one of those kind after all.”
