Bugs gone, gardens picked
Cold ice-cream cone I licked
Golden fields, scarecrow out
"Goodbye summer!" we shout

Hot embers, cold rain
Watching Papa bring in the grain
Leaves fall, birds leave
All of our garden tools we heave
