Willie Saves a Life

WILLIE SAVES A LIFE written by Debbie Williamson It was a beautiful spring morning down at the Hansen's barn in Mountain Grove, Ontario. Willie, a two year old donkey, stood outside enjoying the warm sunshine. Clint Rooster came strutting out of the barn. "Millie's eggs are hatching!" Clint exclaimed loudly. "What is going on here?" asked Willie. "Millie's having babies," said Arnold Pig. "Oh good!" exclaimed Willie. "Now I will have someone else to play with!" Story 650 – Sandwiches

SANDWICHES written by Debbie Williamson I don’t know about you but I love sandwiches and the good thing is, there are lots of different types of sandwiches that I can enjoy. Slow-Poke

SLOW-POKE written by Debbie Williamson "Slow-Poke!" yelled his mother. "Come on. "It's time to get ready for school." "Oh Mommy!" exclaimed Slow-Poke. "I'm so tired of putting boots, mittens, hats, snow pants and coats on." "I know," sympathized Mrs. Duck. "I know! However, that doesn't change anything. There is still six feet of snow out there, even though it is now February. Therefore, you still have to wear your winter clothing. Now, hurry up!" Slow-Poke is a little black duck that lives on a farm in Mountain Grove, Ontario. As his name implies, Slow-Poke is a little slower than all his farm friends. There came a knock at the door. "Yes," Mrs. Duck called. "Come on in, Freddy." Without even seeing who was at the door, Mrs. Duck knew it was Freddy Goose. Freddy was Slow-Poke's best … Read entire article »
