Story 233 – Bump on the Head

BUMP ON THE HEAD written by Debbie Williamson “Hey what was that?” asked Fawn, rubbing his head. “What are you talking about?” asked Spot. “Something fell on my head,” said Fawn. “And it hurt.” Spot just started to laugh. “What is so funny about me getting knocked on the head?” asked Fawn, almost crying. “I’m sorry, Fawn,” said Spot. “I’m not laughing at you. I’m laughing at that stupid crow.” Fawn turned around and looked at what Spot was laughing at. A big black crow was sitting on a hydro wire. He had something in his mouth. It was a walnut. HOOT! HOOT! written by Debbie Williamson Farmer Jim was out in the fields, ploughing his corn field. “Hoot! Hoot!” cried an owl, flying over the field. “Oh be quiet!” exclaimed Farmer Jim, angrily. “I can’t concentrate on my ploughing with you hollering your fool head off!” The owl flew away. “Ahoo Ahoo!” a wolf howled in the far distance. “Oh how can I get any work done around here,” yelled Farmer Jim. “I moved out here to the country to get some peace and quiet and all I hear is noise!” The wolf ran away.
