Story 832 – The Best Mother’s Day

THE BEST MOTHER’S DAY written by Debbie Williamson Fawn and Spot were wondering what they could do for Mrs. Hansen on Mother’s Day. They wanted to do something really special for her. She has never treated them as her barn yard animals or even as pets. Mrs. Hansen has always treated Fawn and Spot like her own children.   “I really wish I could make it to your graduation ceremony,” Fawn overheard Mrs. Hansen say to her daughter, Jenny. “I just can’t afford it right now.”   “Spot,” said Fawn. “I have the perfect idea for a gift for Mrs. Hansen. How much money do you have saved up?”   “A couple of hundred dollars,” said Spot.   “Me too,” said Fawn. “That should be enough.”   “Enough for what?” asked Spot.   “Enough to get Mrs. Hansen a plane ticket so she can … Read entire article »
