Billy Troll Saves the Day

BILLY TROLL SAVES THE DAY written by Debbie Williamson "That is a beautiful song that you are singing," said Dianne Troll walking up the laneway. "It's a new song that I've been kicking around in my head for a few days," said Billy Troll, laying his guitar beside him on the porch "Oh, please don't stop singing on my account," said Dianne. "I love listening to you sing." "Actually, I need to take a break," said Billy. "I'm stuck on one verse anyway." "What is the verse?" asked Dianne. "It goes like this," said Billy, picking up the guitar again. "Don't stop loving me baby. I need you tonight. I need you tomorrow." Billy laid his guitar down once more. "What's wrong?" asked Dianne. "That's where I get stuck," said Billy. "I don't know what I should put after that." "I … Read entire article »

Easter Surprise

EASTER SURPRISE written by Debbie Williamson Billy Troll strummed his guitar, while sitting in the kitchen. He just happened to look up at the calendar.   "Oh no!" exclaimed Billy. I have to work on my Easter song."   Billy went into his studio and went to get the sheet music that he used to write down the lyrics and music composition for his Easter song.  Billy looked everywhere for it but he could not find it anywhere. He was just about to ask his wife if she had seen it, when he noticed it was sitting on his desk.   "That is funny," said Billy. "I know I didn't leave it there. Oh well, maybe Dianne moved it when she was cleaning up."   Billy took the sheet music to the kitchen with him. … Read entire article »

To My One True Love

TO MY ONE TRUE LOVE written by Debbie Williamson Billy Troll sat in his studio, with his guitar in his hand, thinking of what he could do for his wife, Dianne. A Depressing Valentine’s Day

A DEPRESSING VALENTINE'S DAY written by Debbie Williamson Billy Troll was strumming his guitar in his studio, one afternoon, about a week before Valentine's Day. He stopped strumming when he saw his wife, Dianne, walk past the studio doorway. "I have to do something special for Dianne this Valentine's Day," said Billy to himself. "She has been so depressed lately and I am not even sure why." Billy decided he would finish up a special song that he was writing called "Beautiful Butterfly" and sing that to his wife at his Valentine's Day concert. "Flutter, flutter, flutter to me, my beautiful butterfly. You make, make, make my whole life complete, my beautiful butterfly," sang Billy. Valentine's Day rolled around and it seemed to Billy that Dianne was even more depressed than ever. "I spilled some milk on … Read entire article »
