Lac De Bois Grassland Park, Kamloops, BC

On Sunday, March 19, 2006, I went for a drive
at Lac De Bois Granssland Park, Kamloops, BC. It was a warm March morning and
the sun was shining. I first stopped at the Mara Mountain Public Viewing Trail
at took a nice walk on the well-kept trail. It was awesome walking through the
sage brush. There was a log bridge that took me over the creek and then I
continued my walk. After my walk I drove a little further on the Tranquille Road
and was amazed at what I saw. I saw 30 mountain sheep! One was on the side of
the road but the others were grazing in the field or sunning themselves on the
rocks.
