I saw this flock of birds flying around where I live in Kamloops, BC.
Bald Eagles
On December 26, 2006, I saw not one, but two bald eagles sitting in this tree.
Crow
On February 16, 2007, I saw this crow walking in some mud.
Salmon Run
I loved seeing the sockeye salmon at Adams Lake, BC so much that I just had to go back again...

Prairie Dog
One thing I
really love about Alberta is the prairie dogs. I think prairie dogs are
absolutely the coolest little animals on the planet. I found this little guy in
a park in Innisfree, Alberta, just east of Edmonton. I was able to watch this little guy for about a good hour. He would poke his head down into
his hole and then just when he thought I wasn't looking, he'd poke his head back
up again. It got to be almost like a game between the two of us and I was having
a lot of fun watching him, only he didn't realize I had the camera ready each
and every time he came out of his hole.
